boys

greyson has grown so that there are moments when i hardly recognize him.

reading and video games are about all he is truly interested in.   he devours books.

he also makes us crazy with his arguing.   makes us laugh with his goofy dancing.  and continues to teach us what parenting really is.

asher

asher is the wild card right now.  equal parts sweet and sour.  while his teachers compliment his behavior  in class, at home he is the master of provoking a fight.

he is becoming mom's boy.  he has taken an interest in helping me in the kitchen.  he's always liked helping bake cookies or cake, but today he asked to make the scrambled eggs with me at breakfast time and asked several questions about how it is done.

quinn

Quinn is a love.  he is just beginning to find his voice.  he is picking up words and repeating us.  though he is not speaking clearly enough to be understood, he doesn't seem to mind.

he is also learning to let his opinions be known.  suddenly our house is much louder with the sounds of quinny screeching 'NO!' and "TOP! (stop)".  for the first time ever he has started fussing about taking a nap or going to bed.  i think my wonderful sleeper has finally learned that he may be missing something if he sleeps.
